How it all began...
I grew up with a very traditional way of eating mainly home-cooked with fresh ingredients. I've always been aware of the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating. This was mainly because the environment around me was of unhealthy processed foods, overweight people, and eating disorders.
With my strong love for cooking and my practical personality, I started taking regular recipes and converting them into healthier versions. Throughout my journey I traveled the world, and always used cooking as my gateway into each culture. I learned the language and flavors of each place through food. Along the way I jumped at every chance I could to cook with professional chefs, and local home cooks. As a result, I acquired new tastes and skills and always found a way to tie them back to my passion of healthy eating. After much experimenting in the kitchen, I found a need to understand how these foods affects our bodies. This led me to go back and study to become a health coach.

Throughout the years of studying, experimenting and personal experience, I've found that the way to everyone's heart is through food. We all feel accomplished when we cook a meal ourselves and serve it to those we love who, in turn, enjoy eating it.
I am passionate about helping and inspiring people to make lifestyle changes through food. I focus on delicious "healthier" cooking skills with and emphasis on ease, fun, and confidence. My approach is seasonal, flavorful, healthful, and satisfying by recreating lighter versions of your family favorites at home with real, fresh, and delicious ingredients.
