This week is Thanksgiving, A time to be thankful for what you have and what you have accomplished. I am sending you all thanksgiving wishes today. I hope you are enjoying your time with friends or family and eating delicious but healthy food.
This holiday of giving thanks dates back to the Pilgrims. It is about giving thanks for the harvest, followed by a celebratory meal. Today the tradition still continues in North America as well as in various other countries around the world.
Since gratitude is such an important aspect of being human I find this holiday to be beautiful in many ways. Firstly it is always nice to be thankful for what you have, instead of complaining of what is missing. Its nice to have a few days break from life, school, work, etc. It’s always nice to spend time with people you love – friends or family and of course it’s always fun to feast on delicious food.

As well the book has a lot of extra information about different types of flours and how to use them. Different sugar substitutes, and different types of fats and how to use them correctly. It teaches you how to clean out your pantry, and how to deal with picky eaters. As well there is a section on alternative healthy snacks to buy if you don’t have time to make them.
